What's your
music pleasure?
The right music can add so much to
your celebration. Everything from
Mariachi to DJ is available in Puerto
Vallarta.
Mariachi
Mariachi is the traditional Mexican
way to celebrate and the State of
Jalisco, where Puerto Vallarta is
located, is the birthplace of Mariachi.
The music of the Mariachi is the folklore
music of Mexico. There are several
excellent Mariachis in Puerto Vallarta.
The traditional full Mariachi is 10
to 15 musicians, although many Mariachis
consist of fewer while maintaining
the same sound, so be prepared for
some amazing music
Mexican Trio
The Mexican trio mixes the traditional
folk and popular music of Mexico and
the world. The harmony of the ballads
and regional themes can range from
a country music sound to the soft
and romantic. Trios are often used
like the Mariachi in Mexican weddings
to escort the newlyweds and their
guests to the reception area after
the ceremony and some perform songs
in English as well as Spanish.
Rock
If a live rock band is your preference,
there are several awesome bands in
the Puerto Vallarta area that can
perform the songs you know and love,
as well as Mexican favorites.
Jazz Duo or Trio
If jazz is your thing, Vallarta has
that, too. A popular local duo or
trio can add that romantic jazz touch
to your event
Harpist
For that magical touch to your ceremony,
consider a harpist. There are several
excellent ones in Puerto Vallarta
and some even sing
Soloist
Want a soloist to sing your favorite
song for your ceremony? Again, there
are a number of excellent ones here
who sing in Spanish or English
Cuban Band
If Latin spice is what you crave,
consider a Cuban band. Keep your guests
entertained with everything from the
romantic to meringue to salsa
Children's Choir
Enjoy the beautiful, clear sound
of children’s voices as they sing
the Ave Maria and other selections
for your church ceremony.
